My formative introduction to art was at an early age at the Brooklyn Museum, in New York City. Here I found inspiration from the Old Masters, including Rembrandt van Rijn, Johannes Vermeer, and Pieter Brueghel the Elder. From this point on, I knew that art would be a part of my daily life.

I attended the Tyler School of Fine Arts at Temple University. and Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York. I was influenced by the works of the New York School of Artists, and the critiques by Paul Margin, Leo Manso, and Joel Stapleton. In recent years I have been studying with Barbara Wasserman at the Boca Raton Museum Art School.

Following my formal education, my work was well-received in the juried shows and galleries in the New York tri-state area. I am especially proud of having had my work displayed at the

I have also participated in Juried art shows with Art Critics from the New York Times, and fellow working artists who are highly respected in the community (Audrey Flack, Renato Danes), including:

The acceptance to the National Drawing Association of New York is a place I hold in high esteem.  It gave me the affirmation to continue on the path I had chosen...TO DRAW!

The work has evolved, where I capture a moment in time. Hopefully, the viewer is engaged in a dialogue with the work.
